Open Pairs R/R Tournament

 Saturday and Sunday 27th and 28th June 2026.

Zurgena hosted the Open Pairs with teams from Zurgena BC, Mojacar BC and Indalo BC.

Saturday was an extremely hot day. Teams in 2 groups, playing 2 or 3 games, each 8 ends or 70 minutes, whichever was the shorter, battled each other and the ferocious sun. With 3 points for a win and 1 point for each end won, it was all to play for.

The results after all the games were Team A top scorers with 24 points Ray Malt and Bruce Henderson and Team B top scorers with 29 points Ade Leitch and Paul Day who then gave a thrilling final with the eventual winners being Ade and Paul. Congratulations to them both and also to our runners up Ray and Bruce,
