​This is a knockout competition to be held between December 18th and 21st. Dates and times may be varied according to the number of entries.  It is a drawn pairs competition. The draw for partners and opponents will be made at the club after roll up on Tuesday December 16th and displayed on the noticeboard with confirmation of times and dates. Entry fees are 5 euros per player and must be paid to the Competition Secretary before the closing date of Tuesday December 16th at 13.00H

RULES

1. Games will be played in line with Crystal Marks 4th Edition where not covered below.

2. The competition will take the from of a knockout competition played over 18 ends.

3. Teams can decide between themselves their preferred playing position for each game.

4. Each game to be played on the days and time scheduled and defaulting players will forfeit the game.

5. Two trial ends are permitted.

6. Dead ends are to be replayed.

7. No visiting the head.

8. The winner is the team with the highest number of shots after 18 ends. In the event of the scores being level after 18 ends, one further end will be played to decide the winner. The toss of a coin will decide who starts the extra end.

9. Late arrival. If a player is more than 10 minutes late or advises they cannot play, the game will be awarded to their opponent.

10. Substitutes are allowed at the discretion of the Competition Organiser.

11. The Organisers reserve the right to make changes or alterations.
